Classical Recitals in Surrey, Hampshire & Sussex
Jessica aims to provide high quality, enjoyable classical music to communities in Surrey and Hampshire. The repertoire performed is predominately classical music, ranging from Baroque classics by Bach and Handel, through to Classical works by Mozart and Beethoven. Their repertoire also includes works by the late-romantic composers such as Chopin and Kreisler juxtaposed alongside Scott Joplin Ragtime favourites. Both Jessica and her pianist are classically- trained musicians; however they are able to accommodate requests for specific pieces, even those from other genres. All they ask is that any special requests are received a minimum of 21 days prior to a recital, to enable the music to be located and rehearsed to a suitable standard. A number of different programmes are available for performance. The majority of the repertoire is for flute and piano duet, however solo pieces for both instruments are often included too.
